Terrorist attack this morning in South Eastern France ( Grenoble région same région as Grenoble, but closer to Lyon) on a Chemical plant. Terrorists used a van to run into a gas storage to make it explode (They watch too much Michael Bay apparently), and the plant was classified as low risk... And a severed head was found with (apparently) flags ressembling Daesh’s. Also another terrorist attack in Tunisia, in the tourist town of Sousse. Live for both from Sky:

Oh no! That’s so awful to hear. My wife’s college roommate lives in Grenoble, we went there a few years ago for her wedding. It’s such a beautiful place, this is such a shame.

Actually it’s way closer to Lyon than Grenoble. Same “département” as Grenoble though. Anyway. 1 dead (the severed head guy), and 2 injured. Apparently one of the terrorists was arrested by a fireman while trying (and failing) to open the Oxygen bottles to make them explode (which probably would have just resulted in him getting burned because, you knwo, safety valves...)

I’m glad it wasn’t a whole lot worse. Also, I drove through Lyon on my way to Grenoble for the wedding. That whole area is beautiful. Actually, I really really enjoyed visiting France and would love to go back.
